Entrance Works

Work started this morning on the entrance, which consists on a new fence, bin store and paving.
The work, which forms part of the refurbishment of the lounge and clubhouse, when completed will make a make a much smarter and appealing entrance to club.

The new fence line will also re-establish the boundary line between our property and that of the Bell Hammer site which is presently undergoing redevelopment. For members further information the buildings are being demolished which is due to start shortly. Members should expect some disturbance, particularly noise within permitted levels, during that time.

Access will be maintained into the club at all times during the entrance works but members should expect some disruption. Unfortunately during this time of exceptionally inclement weather it will be difficult to keep the pathways totally clear of mud. Also the car parking spaces directly outside the squash court wall is being taken over by the contractors for their materials and equipment.

Work is expected to take a week to complete, subject to the weather. The final work will be repair of the pot holes in the car park which will also cause some disruption to members parking during the day.
