Dear all
We have been asking all tennis players to drop nets after using the courts to reduce the stress on the base plates of the posts but we are now finding that constant use of the handles and possible overtightening is causing other problems (including broken handles). Accordingly, until further notice, please can we ask all players to no longer drop the nets after playing.
Whilst on the subject of tennis courts, please continue to sweep the clay courts after playing and also ensure that you use the brushes outside the courts to make sure that you THOROUGHLY remove any clay from your shoes (or change your shoes) to ensure that clay particles do not end up on the patio or in the clubhouse.
