The General Committee (GC) would like to share our plans for the coming year. Our primary commitment remains providing the best possible playing facilities and ensuring our club remains a vibrant, well-maintained home for all our members.
Investing in Our Club
Maintaining an older clubhouse and premium playing surfaces comes with unique challenges. Recently, we have prioritised essential investments to improve your experience, including:
Facility Upgrades:
New heaters for the squash courts and vital structural repairs to the men’s changing room flooring.
Future-Proofing:
We are currently building a reserve for the next 18–24 months to replace the Poraflex courts (4, 5, and 6), which are reaching the end of their natural lifespan.
To continue this level of investment while navigating the current financial climate, we have made some modest adjustments to our pricing for the 2026/27 season.
New Membership Rates
We have worked hard to keep increases to a minimum. In fact, Standard Adult Membership still equates to just over £1 per day, offering incredible value for year-round access to the club.

Bar & Hospitality
While we are pleased to announce that most bar prices are frozen until 2027, a significant increase from our suppliers means we will see a small adjustment to the price of Harvey's and Kronenbourg draught. We thank you for your understanding as we work to keep our social space sustainable.
