It's been great to see so many of you at the club making the most of the good summer weather and enjoying tennis.
Our club sessions continue to be popular. It's been good to see some experienced players come along recently and enjoy taking part. We are also seeing new members coming along and joining in which has been great. If you have never been to a club social or not been for awhile please come along and give it a try. There are various sessions (Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays - daytine and evening) with times listed on our website and the club calendar.
It's been great to hear news on the tennis hub about how well our teams are doing. One example is the Ladies A Team finishing the season at the top of Sussex League Division 4. Well done ladies.
We currenty have a mixed A and mixed B team in the Weald League and I am pleased to confirm that as a tennis committee we have decided to enter a mixed C team for the next season. If you do not currently represent the club in team matches and would like to be considered for a place in one of our teams then please do let me know.
Do look again at the email that was sent recently in relation to coaching and cardio-tennis which we are now offerring for the first time and please sign up early if you are interested.
Dates to add to your calandar:
Saturday 4th October: Our next American Tournament. Open to all - thanks to Tony Chalwin for offering to run this.
Sunday 12th October: Daphne Lamport Tournament. I am pleased to confirm that we are hosting this again. It should be a great event to come and watch and support those representing our club.
Tuesday 18th November: Club AGM.
More details on all of these to follow nearer the time.
