Tennis Court Update 07.01.2026

Hi All,

Tennis Court update for you as follows.

You will all have noted the improvement in weather and temperature over the last 24 hours. However, despite showing signs of promise and following another assessment of our tennis courts a short time ago, ALL court surfaces continue to be unplayable, and therefore regrettably will remain closed.

For clarity, clay courts have massively improved with surface snow and ice in the main clearing, though the surfaces have not fully thawed. The poraflex, hardcourts, along with path, patio, and car park areas remain very icey and slippery.

If things do not worsen overnight, and we have no more freezing temperatures, we can be cautiously optimistic in some courts being available tomorrow, therefore the next review and update will be tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, the club remains open for Squash, Racketball & Fitness etc, and the bar will be open from 6:30pm this evening.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
