A few random tennis bits and pieces for you all:
Next American Tournament - 3rd October 2026. Sign up sheet will appear nearer the time.
Daphne Lamport Tournament - Sunday 11th October 2026. We have hosted this annual Weald mixed tournament for the last few years but this year it will take place at the Limpsfield Club starting at 9.30. Non-playing supporters are welcome with lunch provided (£5).
AGM - Tuesday 17th November 2026 at 7 p.m. This is important for the running of the club. Please keep this date free.
Finals Day next year! 17th July 2027
Do look at Adam's recent emails with details of coaching for both Juniors and Adults. Don't forget there is a section on MyCourts for you to find previous emails if you have missed them. Getting details and signing up for pay as you go coaching sessions is very easy. Just scan in the coaching QR code in the clubhouse.
This is a Weald league open to men over 55 - all matches are weekdays only. We are not currently part of this league but we are intending to join this coming season if there is sufficient interest. Bryan Thomas has kindly agreed to be our Captain. If you would like to be considered for our team or would like some more information then please contact him as soon as possible. His details can be found in the MyCourts directory.
Do remember our planning permission does not allow us to use floodlights beyond 9 p.m. Please do not pay to go beyond this time.
If you are the one serving in any match or friendly game, the onus is on you to call out the score loudly and clearly before you serve so all players can hear. This helps everyone keep track of the score and helps to avoid score queries later.
