Hi All.
Just to mention that David Croft one of our long term members will be playing his last night at the club tonight and more importantly at the bar afterwards!
David has been at the club for so many years and played regularly in our Squash teams in the Sussex Leagues during the Peter Parsons era. He was definitely one of the more successful players at that time often occupying the No1 slot in the second team run by Peter. There was also a brief period where he made his way out onto the Tennis Courts, but for some reason he decided that wasn't his game! Racketball however was a game that David enjoyed and many will remember his determined win in the 2019 Racketball Handicap Plate final against Doug Barr.
David and his Wife Kathy are off to live in Wantage in the Vale of White Horse in Oxfordshire. I'm sure that the best wishes of everyone at the club goes with them and he'll enjoy seeing as many faces as possible tonight.
