Tennis Singles Box League - R18 - end of round summary

Dear tennis players,

Well done to those of you who competed in Round 18 of the Tennis Singles Box League, with 75 matches played across 9 leagues.

The next round will start on Monday 16 September, with matches to played over 8 weeks, ending on Sunday 10 November.

New players wishing to join are very welcome - all levels, there is a league for everyone! - please sign-up on the club noticeboard, or let me know via email, entry closes on Wednesday 11 September - current players will be automatically entered into the next round, unless advised otherwise - please let me know ASAP, if you do not wish to continue.

PREMIER LEAGUE MENS - [Winner = Luke T.]
Four wins out of four for Coach Luke - book him now as a hitting coach or for adult beginners coaching … and you too might one day be top of the box leagues!!

LEAGUE ONE MENS - [Winner = Michele M.] Clay court specialist Michele got three wins, a set and bonus points to finish top.

LEAGUE TWO MENS - [Winner = Connor B.] Very close with both Connor and Christoph winning three of their matches - it could have been different, if only you’d finished the head-to-head clash

LEAGUE THREE MENS - [Winners = Matt P.] Moving up the leagues with three straight set wins - well done Matt

LEAGUE FOUR MENS - [Winner = Petar K.] Promotion up to League Three with three wins and bonus points

LEAGUE FIVE MENS [Winner = Peter M.] Couple of wins in the last week of the round clinched the title for Peter

LEAGUE SIX MENS - [Winner = N/A] No matches played :(

PREMIER LEAGUE LADIES - [Winner = Fiona H.] Possibly the highest number of wins ever in the Box League - five wins, no bonus points though

LEAGUE ONE LADIES - [Winner = N/A] Two wins out of two for Sue - but sorry, you need to play at least three matches to win the league
