2025 Tennis Tournament

Sign up sheets for this year's tournament will be going up very shortly. Please look out for them and put your name down if you would like to join in. Here are some key points.

1. Our annual tennis tournament is open to all levels and not just for the most experienced players. Not everyone will reach the finals of course but any-one interested can enter and enjoy some fun tennis in the early rounds. It's great to have new members entering and taking part for the first time so please dont be shy and do sign up!

2. If you would like to enter a doubles competition but don't have a partner, put your name down and the tournament committee will find you a partner.

3. If you are new to the club and have any questions about the tournaments, please speak to one of the tournament organisers - Toni, Morgan, Daphne, Sabine & Giles.

4. The categories are as follows:

Ladies Vets

Donoughmore

Ladies Doubles

Mens Doubles

Ladies Singles

Junior Singles

Mens Vets Doubles

Mixed Handicap

Mens Vets Singles

Mens Singles

Mixed Doubles

Mens Plate

5. Closing date for entries is SUNDAY APRIL 20th 5.00pm . The rounds will then start shortly after that date.

6. Finals Day will be on 19th July 2025 (Finalists should be free for the whole day and it may be postponed to the 20th July if there is bad weather). This is a great social event for everyone (not just the finalists) so please keep this date free. There will be a BBQ and a chance to hopefully watch some good tennis finals.

7. Further details and sign up sheets will be on the noticeboard at the club house within the next day or two.
