Andy Humphreys has decided that now is the time to step down from running the bar and will be handing over to Andy Norris over the next month or so. (we will ratify the changeover with a vote at the AGM in November)
The bar is an integral part of the club both in terms of social interaction and contribution to the financial running of the club, Andy has worked tirelessly over the past couple of years after taking over from Stuart to ensure that the bar continues to meet the needs of all who use it.
Andy has made a massive contribution to the club over many , many years in several different roles on the General Committee including Tennis Chair and Marking lead.
Very often these efforts behind the scenes go unnoticed, I hope you will all join me in thanking Andy for his efforts and perhaps consider buying him a drink the next time you see him down the club in the bar!
