SQUASH / RACKETBALL - JUNE UPDATE

Good morning!

A quick Jubilee June update for all squash and RB players:

Racketball Leagues:
We are at the halfway stage and those who have already played a couple of games have had their 4 bonus points added. Still plenty of matches to arrange particularly in the top two leagues but current leaders are as follows:

Premier - Roger Bean (happy birthday as well Roger!)
League 1 - Stuart Sterling
League 2 - Henry Grub
League 3 - Ray Thompson (on count back!)

The current leagues run to the end of June and if anyone wants to join the July/August league please let me know.

Squash Ladder / Team rankings:
The squash ladder is up and running - and very meaningful as the Squash 1st and 2nd team rankings for next season will be based on the ladder positions.
Remember you can challenge anyone up to 4 places above you and even if you lose you can move up a place or two (if possible) by winning one or two sets. If you want to enter the squash ladder please contact me - all I ask is that you challenge someone who you think is approximately your standard and let me know the result.

2022 Squash Open KO tournaments - finals night tbc:
Curtis Bean won his semi final against Joe Collier and Giles Cowdell / Toby Glynn will be playing their semi final today to decide the other finalist.
The group stages of the Ladies tournament are also ongoing and the intention will be to play both ladies and mens finals on a Monday evening in the near future when the finalists are all available! Andy will confirm the date as soon as he can.

Cheers
Nick Woodman
