A loss against Burgess Hill in March was followed by a 19-6 win away against Weald that secured the teamís position in League 3 for next season. The final fixture on Monday evening, a 1-4 loss against David Lloyd Eastbourne, was therefore academic!
Congratulation to captain Joe Collier and organiser Keith Wilson for all their efforts throughout the season and it is hoped that the club will now revert to having two teams in the leagues from the start of next season.
Special mention also to regular players Leon Harris, Matt Gimson, Dominic Williams, Curt Bean (who won all 6 of his matches) and Toby Glynn, and thanks to all others for playing when required.
Another 3-0 win against Chichester in March leaves the ladies team in third place with one match remaining to be played away against Nutley on April 30th.
