Covid-19 update - Squash/Racketball.

Following on from Government and Squash England advice we would like to confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to close the squash courts and members should not use them with immediate effect.

All club nights and Saturday morning coaching will be cancelled with immediate effect.

We appreciate this is disappointing but we need to comply with the latest measures announced late this afternoon by the government.

Tennis will continue as normal.

Please also note the following:

Racketball league :
The current league finish date will not apply and an alternative date will be confirmed once things start to return to normal. The "yellow carding" for non-completion of at least two matches will be suspended for this league.

Squash league:
As per Racketball regarding end date.

Squash Open KO:
The sign up sheets are posted on the Noticeboard so please continue to add your names. The start date will however be deferred until the situation is clearer.

Racketball handicap KO / plate:
This is normally played during the summer months so we will defer sign-up and start dates until the situation is clearer.

Team squash:
Sussex Squash have now suspended the Sussex leagues.
In recent games, the 1st team beat Weald 5-0 but lost narrowly 2-3 to Nutley. They are currently in 2nd place only 6 points adrift of Nutley but with a game in hand.
The 2nd team lost their match with Dunnings and with 2 games remaining are mid table in Division 5.
